Nevra Topcu

Nevra is a video producer and a filmmaker with a background in narrative and documentary films as well as promotional and educational video content.

Nevra gained a Fine Arts Foundation with a distinction at Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design. She continued her studies with a Film and Television BA at University of Westminster which she completed with a First Class Honours. Nevra completed her studies with a Master’s in Film and Philosophy at King’s College London.

In 2016, Nevra founded video production company Folie à Deux Productions. Since then she worked with a range of media and cultural organisations as well as NGOs including Royal Academy of Arts, BBC, Amnesty International and Mind. Her independent films have screened at various film festivals around the world.

Alongside production, Nevra worked as a workshop facilitator. She facilitated multimedia workshops for children as well as adults with learning disabilities.

Outside work Nevra enjoys traveling and analogue photography. She is a black belt kickboxer and trains regularly.
