Claudia Báez

Claudia Báez is a digital and AI strategist who helps organizations adopt and integrate AI responsibly through advisory services, consultancy, and workshops. She co-designs, facilitates, and leads coaching and mentorship for the global "AI Futures Lab" program and the LATAM cohort of the "Newsroom AI Catalyst," both piloted by Fathm for WAN-IFRA in collaboration with OpenAI. She also supports AI adoption initiatives for the Google News Initiative, DeepMind, and the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Drawing on her background as an investigative journalist and AI builder, Claudia advises organizations on team integration and ethical AI deployment.

As former CEO of Cuestión Pública, the Colombian investigative outlet she co-founded and scaled into a sustainable, award-winning newsroom, she led investigations into Colombian corruption, earning the Sigma Award, the King of Spain International Journalism Award, among others. She has also worked in financial and commercial operations analysis for multinational companies in France, the United States, and Mexico. Claudia is certified in Public Narrative: Leadership, Storytelling, and Action from Harvard Kennedy School, and received the U.S. State Department's Professional Fellows Alumni Impact Award.
